If you see something you would like to bid on, under each post is the word comment proceeded by a number that indicates all the comments on that particular post. Currently most posts have 0 comments =(. Here is what we would like to do. We do a yearly auction but it is normally only a one day event and many do not want to drive that far for one day of play, so if you would like to bid, you may do so. Anyone that comes to the auction will enjoy the benefit of having the last word/bid. If you would like to give me a high bid for you you may send a msg to davidrlrussell@gmail.com and I will bid for you. Feel free to leave instructions on what increment you wish to bid by. If you win the item, we will ship it so you, but you will have to pay the postage. I will notify you of the win and you may send us a check or paypal us

Happy bidding and if you have any questions, feel free to post them here, pm them or email me.

More Progress from Luke G on the Chainmail

Luke says,
"The first two pictures are of the "wyrms" that I make out of the wire and then the rings that are cut from the wyrms which are used to make the chainmaille.

Just though I should also mention that it's about 170 rings per foot of wyrm, which means the pic of the wyrms was approximately 500 rings if I did my math right (and accounted for the wyrms not being 100% perfect). That's about 1/30th of the rings needed for the hauberk. Need to crack the whip on myself! :)
-Luke"

Latest Update on the Chainmail
Here is a better representation of what the weave will look like (shown "open", which is how the front and back will look). That's about half of one under-arm section, measuring approximately 21"x5". Each side section will be about 21"x10" and will hang "closed", allowing for a good fit for many people. I stand only 5' 7" tall, and this reaches about 3/4 down my thigh. It should cover at least half a tall persons' upper leg unless they have a really long torso. Of course, this does come with my Lifetime Guarantee for sizing. I'll even do the first sizing just for shipping it to me, since I understand people may be hesitant about a pre-made shirt.

Editorial Reviews

Product Description

Expedition to the Barrier Peaks is a 1980 adventure module for the Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying game and was written by Gary Gygax. While Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) is typically a fantasy game, the adventure includes elements of science fiction and thus belongs to the science fantasy genre. It takes place on a downed spaceship; the ship's crew has died of an unspecified disease, but functioning robots and strange creatures still inhabit the ship. The player characters fight monsters and robots, and gather the futuristic weapons and colored access cards that are necessary for advancing the story. Expedition to the Barrier Peaks was first played at the Origins II convention in 1976. In 1980, TSR updated the adventure for first edition Advanced Dungeons & Dragons rules and published it. The adventure is an old-time favorite of many Dungeons & Dragons fans. It was ranked the fifth-best Dungeons & Dragons adventure of all time by Dungeon magazine in 2004, and received positive reviews from White Dwarf and The Space Gamer magazines. Expedition to the Barrier Peaks comes with a booklet of 63 numbered illustrations, depicting the various monsters, high tech devices, and situations encountered in the adventure. Typical of TSR AD&D modules, the inside of the cover doubles as a map, and this item also included a second interior cover insert that was a double-sided map for a total of six map sections (portraying the ship levels I through VI).
